hello, everybody!

hey! i've been celibate on this blog thing for a while and now im ready to give it some lovin!

i know you all know i moved to l.a. things are pretty different here. lots of rich and lots of poor. LOTS of rich.

I live in a really great neighborhood. it is right off a street called melrose ( sort of in between melrose and sunset blvd), about a mile or so from beverly hills in west hollywood. it's a perfect location. i have everything i need and more in walking distance. lola is doing really great. we have two other dogs here and a big yard. i take her on multiple walks a day becuase we like to explore and the weather is so nice. i have been feeling a bit odd lately being out here, more alone than i've ever felt. i haven't been away from family in a long time, i know this will pass when i become more affiliated with my surroundings, but it's made me feel so emotional and insecure lately! the worst part of moving is the adjusting!
i hang out with rob roy, he lives really close to me, probably about six blocks. i think you all would really enjoy it out here. i hope each of you can visit sometime.
before i came to california i took some pictures of my friend for his music myspace. i'll post a couple, tell me what you think! i might start shooting bands for a little bit a money soon... just as a hobby. it's so fun!

hello!

today i woke up at 7 am. i am currently eating a large, fruitful breakfast of fruit pancakes, an orange, raison bread, and cereal. since i think i'm lactose intolerant i've started eating my cereal with soy milk, it took me a minute to get use to it, but now i love it and dont think i'll be able to go back to milk! i'm listening to lucero and i feel like i'm i florida since i'm up so early... like i should be getting ready to go to aveda with amanda. man i miss that girl.
im finally getting the internet at my house on tuesday, so that'll be sweet.


to be honest, this post was just to tell everyone that i woke up early. i feel accomplished and wanted to brag. goodbye.

spring break 2008

hello!
this spring break is definantly an unforgetable one. celeste came up and hung out for a few days and that was nice. i worked everyday except for saturday. plus on top of that kyle and i broke up. i've talked to many of you about that situtaion already and thanks for all of your time!

im really tired because i didnt get much sleep last night so im going to be a little short on this post.

i hope everyone is doing well. i love and miss all of you.

so this week are midterms.
i only really had one midterm so far (becuase ceramics class didnt really have one)
but i feel like i did really good on it.

celeste is coming up here this weekend. im excited.
courtney moved into the house. she's great.
instead of going to florida for spring break i get to work ALL week, which i suppose is good becuase i need the money.
kyle and i are doing great.
it's between 40-50 degrees thsi week!

i showed my coworker that video and she told me about these commercials from when she lived in ohio. this dude is totally serious and if you go to youtube and check out even more videos they're sooo hillarious.

first off - i do NOT have celiac disease! 

amanda is leaving soon so we have been spending some good times together. today we went to the field museum to see our friend jason who works there doing graphic designs. it was a really nice day. he got us in there for free and took us to the back part where only employs are allowed. we went through a couple halls, then into a room where they stuff birds .. and THENNN he took us to a room with flesh eating beetles! you had to go through one door, then once that was closed go through another. it led us to a room with about 8 30 gallon aquariums full of soil and tiny beetles eating dead animals... from fish to birds. it was crazy!!! the room smelled like dead, but it was so awesome that i spent some time in there looking at the skeletal remains inside the habitats. so awesome.

anyways, i dont have any pictures of the beetles but here are some from the rest of the day!

hello, friends and family!

this is my first blog. since a neighbor just moved in with the internet, i'm on the internet at my house more! thank you friendly neighbor!

I want to do what jessica does and keep everyone up to date... i think that's fun. family first (unless you're my friend.. then friends first. shhh!) j/k! or am i? (thats rhetorical) 

ANYWAYS

amanda is leaving town in a week and i am totally bummed!!! she's moving to canada for 3 months to finish hair school and my friend courtney is moving in and subletting her room. im really excited about courtney coming, but so sad about amanda leaving. she's my #1.

 

School is alright... it's not very hard and im trying to remember to do all my homework. it's been a while. im working part-time and going to school full time so i've been busy lately and really

 tired... but the good thing about being in school is i get to hang out with kristyn all the time now and i get a chicago Upass! The Upass is a chicago transit card that gives me unlimited rides on trains and busses. its saves me up to 80 dollars a month!

Everyone's sick in chicago. it's freezing too! there are 6 employs at my work and so far im the last one to get sick... so i went to the store and loaded up on airborne and thera-flu. it's bad.. everyone at my work has been out for a week unable to move.. i dont want to catch that!! even though i have a crazy sinus infection.

i've been listening to eisley and city and colour lately. .you guys might like those bands.

at my work we have these hoodies that have puppets you snap onto the ends of the sleeves.. they're kind of dumb, but they're awesome for little kids. one day it was really boring at work so we all wore them. it actually was kinda fun.
